Armor is a piece of equipment that affects survivability and playstyle. It adds health and can change how you behave in battles: survive more damage, move faster, play from a distance, or use gadgets more effectively.
🦾 How does armor work?
An armor card may show:
- Archetype — the armor category, such as Light, Basic, or Heavy. It helps explain how the armor works. For example, light armor may give less HP but more movement speed.
- HP — how much health the armor adds.
- Move Speed — how fast the character moves with this armor.
Armor affects the feel of combat, pacing, and survivability. It can increase your HP, affect movement speed, and support a specific playstyle.
At the same time, armor does not replace weapons, gadgets, or Ability Cards. It works together with them.
Armor has different rarity levels. It affects the number and quality of its Special Properties.
- Common — no slots for extra properties.
- Rare — 1 slot for an extra property.
- Epic — 2 slots for extra properties.
- Legendary — 2 slots for stronger extra properties.
- Mythic — 3 slots for extra properties.
💥 What properties can armor have?
Armor has two layers of properties.
Unique property: The main feature of the armor. It highlights its role, such as the durability of heavy armor or the mobility of light armor.
Extra properties: These are Special Properties that can strengthen the armor’s advantages or compensate for its weaknesses.
The number of extra properties depends on the armor’s rarity.
🔝 Can I upgrade armor?
By default, armor cannot be upgraded. Instead, you can get new versions of armor with different stats. For example, you can have several versions of the same base armor, but with different rarities and different properties.
💸 Can I sell armor?
Since armor can be received after matches and from other sources, extra armor items may eventually pile up in your Armory. You can sell unwanted armor in the Armory to clear space. Before selling, check the item carefully: sold armor cannot be recovered.
