Weapons are the core of your equipment in Pixel Gun 2. In battle, you use a loadout with 3 slots:
- Primary weapon: usually used as the main source of damage.
- Backup weapon: helps cover the weak sides of your Primary weapon or quickly finish off enemies.
- Melee weapon: used for close-range fights and fast attacks near enemies.
Each slot can cover different tasks: dealing stable damage, helping at long range, controlling an area, or saving you in close combat.
Each weapon type has its own role and effective range. For example, sniper rifles work better in open spaces, whereas shotguns and area damage weapons are useful in narrow corridors. Choose weapons based on your playstyle and the map.
⚔️ How can I get weapons?
You can get weapons in different ways:
- through progression;
- for completing tasks;
- as loot after matches;
- in the Shop;
- by taking part in events.
💯 What stats can weapons have?
Each weapon can have different stats. The stat set depends on the weapon type. A weapon card may show:
- Damage — how much damage the weapon deals.
- Accuracy — how accurately the weapon shoots.
- Spray Angle — the damage angle for weapons with wide-area damage, such as flamethrowers.
- Fire Rate — how often the weapon shoots or attacks.
- Move Speed — how fast the character moves with this weapon selected.
- Destruction — how much damage the weapon deals to the environment.
- Radius — the destruction or damage radius of a shot, for example, from a rocket launcher.
- Range — the distance at which the weapon can deal damage.
- Ammo — the starting ammo amount for the weapon.
- Attack Speed — how quickly the weapon attacks. This stat is usually shown for melee weapons or other weapons that do not use standard fire rate.
- Power — a general weapon power value.
- Category — the weapon type or category.
Weapons also have rarities. It affects the number and quality of Special Properties.
- Common — no Special Property slots.
- Rare — 1 Special Property slot.
- Epic — 2 Special Property slots.
- Legendary — 2 slots for stronger Special Properties.
- Mythic — 3 Special Property slots.
🔝 Can I upgrade weapons?
By default, weapons cannot be upgraded. Instead, you can get new versions of weapons with different stats. For example, you can have several copies of the same base weapon, but with different rarities and Special Properties.
💸 Can I remove or sell weapons?
Since weapons can be received after matches and from other sources, your Armory may eventually fill up with extra weapons. To clear space and remove items you do not need, you can sell unwanted weapons in the Armory. Before selling, check the item carefully: sold weapons are not recoverable.
