Friends Hub is the place where you can manage your friends in Pixel Gun 2. Here you can:
- search for friends by nickname or ID;
- send and accept friend requests;
- manage your friend list;
- send and claim daily gifts;
- join a friend’s match;
- use privacy settings to control whether other players can find you.
🔓 How to unlock Friends Hub?
Friends Hub unlocks as you progress through Trophy Road. Before it is unlocked, the Friends button in the Lobby will appear locked. If you tap it, you will see a short message explaining when the feature becomes available.
Once Friends Hub is unlocked, you will receive a notification and can start using the feature.
🤝 How to add friends?
There are several ways to add other players as friends.
Search by nickname or ID
Tap Add Friend and enter a player’s nickname or ID. When you find the player, tap Invite to send a friend request. If the player has already sent you a request, accepting it will add both of you as friends immediately.
Add recent players
The Add Friend screen also shows players you recently played with. This list helps you quickly find teammates or opponents from recent matches and send them a friend request.
Add friends after a match
You can also add players directly from post-match screens, such as:
- MVP Top 5;
- Match Results.
Tap Add Friend on a player card to send them a request without leaving the results screen.
🛑 Friend limits
Friends Hub has a limit of 50 friends in the list. If you reach the friend limit, you will need to remove someone from your friend list before adding a new friend.
🎁 Daily gifts
You can send gifts to friends and claim gifts from them once per day. Gifts contain a small reward and can be managed directly from the Friends tab. You can:
- send up to 10 gifts per day;
- send 1 gift per friend per day;
- claim up to 10 gifts per day.
After you send a gift, the button becomes inactive until the next daily reset.
Unclaimed gifts do not disappear. If you reach the daily claim limit, you can claim remaining gifts after the next reset. Daily gift limits reset at 00:00 UTC.
⚔️ Joining a friend’s match
If your friend is playing in an open match, you may see a Join button on their friend card. You can join if:
- you and your friend are using the same game version;
- your levels are within the allowed range;
- you are not already in a match;
- there is space in your friend’s match.
If you cannot join, the button will be inactive and may show the reason. You may also see a Lobby notification inviting you to join a friend’s match.
🔒 Privacy settings
You can manage friend-related privacy in the game settings.
- Privacy settings are off: Other players can find you, send invites, and interact with you through Friends Hub.
- Privacy settings are on: Other players cannot find you in search or send you new friend requests.
Turning privacy on does not remove your existing friends. For players under 18, privacy is enabled by default and cannot be turned off.
